The Local Government Association (LGA) and the Association of Liberal Democrat Councillors (ALDC) are again active at this year’s Spring virtual conference. Local government speakers will feature in a number of debates, seminars, training sessions and roundtables hosted by a variety of partner organisations. At the same time we are staging ’Conference Live’ in York where we are putting on a in-person comprehensive training programme for Liberal Democrat councillors and campaigners.

This is a weekend of training, discussion and catching up with fellow campaigners over 12-13 March 2022, plus the Leader’s Speech taking place live in York on the Sunday.
For many of us, this will be the first time in ages to be able to catch up with each other at a physical event. This will be a great opportunity to share ideas, learn new skills and catch up with friends old and new. The weekend takes place alongside the Party’s ‘virtual’ conference, and all ‘live’ participants are automatically registered for the virtual event.
You will be able to watch the virtual conference auditorium from our live streaming room. Please bring your own computer to vote. Registration covers the event and refreshments but does not include travel, breakfast and evening meals, or your accommodation in York – for which you would need to book separately. To ensure the safety of delegates, the event will be run within the COVID safety guidelines that are in place in March 2022.
We look forward to seeing many of you in York in March!
