Having accurate data on the local area and all it contains is essential to both a Local Plan and a Neighbourhood Plan, and therefore it is important that both Local Authorities and communities have access to great data and the skills to interpret it. The reports were written in 2016/17 and to highlight how two authorities improved the access to data for neighbourhood planning. There are still a useful resource but please be mindful that policy has changed since they were written so not all references will be up to date.
