Every year the four political groups at the LGA invite parliamentary representatives from the House of Commons, House of Lords to be our Vice Presidents.
Senior Leadership team
The LGA's Senior Leadership Team works with the LGA Board to oversee the strategic operational objectives of the organisation.
Councillor profiles
The councillor profile resource lists all members who sit on our structures and features short biographies for key members with senior roles. The profiles of councillors who are on our governance structures also show their Register of Members' Interests, which set out details of any interests which could potentially give rise to a conflict of interest.
LGA Member Conduct Protocol
Complaints or grievances raised against elected Members appointed to LGA governance structures, or MPs and MEPs appointed as the President or Vice-Presidents of the LGA, are covered by the LGA’s protocol for conduct of political appointments. For more information please see the protocol.
