The LGA's Perceptions Survey is an annual survey of member authorities.

The LGA’s polling on resident satisfaction with councils is a triannual telephone survey of 1,000 British adults across Great Britain.

Regional polling results

The LGA has been tracking the reputation of local government for 10 years. Every four months, 1,000 people tell us what they think about their local area and its council.

Local government earnings and demography survey 2019/20

The local government earnings and demography survey (LGEDS) 2019/20 provides paybill, average pay rate and demographic information for all local government employees (excluding teachers). The survey collects details of individual local government posts; the results presented below are based on around 450,000 posts.
