The consultation opened on 4 February 2026 and closed on 1 April 2026.
The Government consulted on whether and how the Employment Rights Act 2025 restrictions on the use of fire and rehire to change terms and conditions should apply to changes to:
- expenses and benefits in kind; and
- shift patterns.
